The mission of Off-Campus Housing Services at the University of Maryland is to support members of the UM community in making well-informed decisions that enable them to enjoy a positive off-campus living experience. Off-Campus Housing Services provides personalized information and resources about housing and off-campus living, fosters student education in becoming responsible members of the communities in which they live, and supports University-wide efforts to increase the quantity and quality of affordable housing options and to increase off-campus students' access to University services. They accomplish this mission using “high tech” approaches including an internet database of available housing options and “high-touch” efforts including one-on-one assistance and delivery of campus-wide programs and events.
The Off-Campus Housing Office website features an online database of available housing, the Off-Campus Living Fair, legal resources, a roommate search function, and plenty of resources to help with all your housing needs.
